Richard Turner is the Head of Principal Investments for Macquarie Capital in Australia and New Zealand. With a flexible investment mandate, Macquarie Capital focusses on deploying equity and intermediate capital into businesses in all sectors in ANZ with a focus on actively helping the businesses grow. Richard leads a number of these investments, and sits on the boards of multiple investee companies. Over his career, Richard has worked for Macquarie, Thomson Reuters, Google and Egon Zehnder in Australia, London, New York and Singapore.
Hamish McLennan has over 30 years’ experience in the media industry. He is currently Chairman of REA Group Limited (appointed 21 February 2012 and Chairman since 10 April 2012), a global online real estate advertising company; Chairman of HT&E Limited (appointed 30 October 2018), an Australian media and entertainment company; and Chairman of Rugby Australia (appointed 15 May 2020).
Greg is a Co-Founder and the Managing Director of Envest. He spent the early part of his career working for Hollard Insurance, Strategic Investment and co-founded Envest as a vehicle for developing niche offers and business equity in insurance and financial services. Envest now has a portfolio of 25 companies spanning three pillars: Insurance Brokers, Underwriting Agencies, Insurance-Related Businesses. It’s goal is to become an innovative diversified insurance distribution business, that specialises in supporting and developing entrepreneurial businesses in the broker, agency and insurtech space.
Glen is an Executive Director of Macquarie Capital’s Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment and Technology (TMET) group and has led a wide range of principal and advisory engagements within Macquarie’s TMET group and has enjoyed over 25 years of investment banking experience in Australia. Glen is currently the head of principal technology investments in Australia and has been involved in investing in numerous high growth technology companies including Smart Group, Nintex, InLoop, Plutora, PEXA and RP Data.
Nandy Nanthivarman is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in commerce, accounting and finance – gained from the distribution, manufacturing, transportation and construction sectors. He has led a number of fundraising, acquisitions and subsequent integration projects.
Nandy was previously CFO of Claim Central Consolidated for a period of seven years before becoming Non-Executive Director.
His past positions include Finance Director, Gate Gourmet Australia and Chief Financial Officer, AirRoad Group. He also currently sits on the board of Inner Flame, a charity that helps ignite the inner potential of youngsters who are less fortunate.
